when he graduated as an Irish G.P. Dr Molly Owens, who is involved in the post graduate
training program of the I.C.G.P., was equally proud of him and the hard work he has put in. That
day opened new opportunities for our clinic. As an Irish G.P., he qualifies for a GMS list and to
accept patients onto his list. He has been a proud member of the Fethard Medical Centre team
since 2012 and has the dream to take our clinic to the next level. His interest includes
rheumatological conditions like joint pains and intra-articular injections. He finds ECG’s, 24-hour
blood pressure monitor and spirometry tests to evaluate heart, blood pressure and lung
conditions fascinating. He is well able to insert and remove the contraceptive implant, though
he doesn’t recommend it as a routine first line form of contraception. He is interested in mental
health conditions like anxiety, depression and to assist patients in weaning off habit forming
substances. He is registered to provide chronic disease management (CDM), diabetic care, heart
watch, under sixes care, antenatal care, childhood vaccinations and the Covid Vaccine. He is also
interested in intestinal, urological, dermatological, ear-nose and throat problems, Men’s Health,
routine medicals and executive medicals. He enjoys cryotherapy of appropriate skin lesions. He
has a post graduate diploma in Occupational Health and is available for Occupational Health
services. We wish him well and give him our full support in managing the clinic and serving the
community.
